BOYANA AVDJIEVA
ABOUT ME
I am Boyana Avdjieva, Bulgarian, trilingual actress and writer. I have a long acting career, including stage shows, musicals, TV shows, films and commercials. I started acting professionally at 17 years old and writing at 13. So far, I've written and produced one short film based on a feature script I have written and I have many more to create.
I recently won a scholarship for the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute among over 200 actors who auditioned for it. I am the first person to do it after participating in an international workshop of the Institute.

Born in Bulgaria, I started acting at the young age of 4 in TV shows for children and commercials, making my professional stage debut at 17 in the musical "The Wizard of Oz".
​
Since then, I've participated in 8 stage shows, 4 musicals, 4 films, 4 short films, 5 TV shows and numerous commercials.
​
Through the span of my career I have written 4 screenplays, one of which was recently made into my first ever short film called "JANE".

AS ANNIE IN "CHICAGO"
"Chicago" was the reason why I chose to be an actress in the first place. One of my lifelong dreams was to be cast in it one day and I'm very happy to have this dream fulfilled already.
SINGING IN CONCERT
Aside from acting, singing has been a huge part of my career as a performer. I have participated in various concert performances, most of which include pieces from Broadway musicals.
